Toolchain

1. Download Toolchain:
wget -c https://releases.linaro.org/14.04/components/toolchain/binaries/gcc-linaro-arm-linux-gnueabihf-4.8-2014.04_linux.tar.xz
of here:
wget -c https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1nl8q4_-tA-bHNKdzQ3YTlEU1k

2. Unpack Toolchain:
tar xf gcc-linaro-arm-linux-gnueabihf-4.8-2014.04_linux.tar.xz

3. Setting Environment Variables:

export CC=`pwd`/gcc-linaro-arm-linux-gnueabihf-4.8-2014.04_linux/bin/arm-linux-gnueabihf-

 Assembly u-Boot

1. Download u-Boot source code:

git clone git://git.denx.de/u-boot.git

2. Go to the directory:

cd u-boot

3. Switch to revision v2014.07:

git chekout v2014.07 -b mtax

4. Download the patch for MTAX modules and to apply it:
wget https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1nl8q4_-tA-aXJ0TEoySTMyVDQ
patch -p1 < u-boot-mtax.patch

1-4. You can download the patched u-boot source code here:
wget https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1nl8q4_-tA-R0RJLUNIRGUzaFU

unpack it:
tar xf u-boot_2014.07.tar.xz

and go to the u-boot working directory:
cd u-boot

5. Assembly:

make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=${CC} distclean
make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=${CC} mtax_som_am335x_config
make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=${CC}

6.Go back to the directory to upper level:
cd ..

Linux kernel assembly

1.Download the Linux source code:
git clone https://github.com/RobertCNelson/bb-kernel.git

2. Go to the directory:
cd bb-kernel

3. Switch to the revision origin/am33x-v3.14 (e0e2ecab29df18c3a69a04a6f8846fb94be9b9f2):
git checkout origin/am33x-v3.14 -b mtax

4. Download and apply the patch:
wget -c wget https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1nl8q4_-tA-b203SXJjc08wY28
patch -p1 < mtax-ubuntu_1.patch

1-4. Alternatively, you can download patched source code:

unpack it:
tar xf bb-kernel_am33x-v3.14.tar.xz

and go to the u-boot working directory:
cd bb-kernel

5. Kernel assembly:
./build_kernel.sh
cd ..

The root file system (RootFS)

1. Download the file with the root file system: wget -c https://rcn-ee.net/deb/minfs/trusty/ubuntu-14.04-minimal-armhf-2014-07-07.tar.xz
or from here: wget -c https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1nl8q4_-tA-OWFFeXdaSGt0QW8

2. Unpack:
tar xf ubuntu-14.04-minimal-armhf-2014-07-07.tar.x

Recording images to SD card

1. Insert the card into the computer and identify the connected device using the dmesg (for example, / dev / sdd).

                         2. Download files:
wget -c https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1nl8q4_-tA-cm5XMlduNTVoTFk
wget -c https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1nl8q4_-tA-MUNFWUlYZ0NBUUk

3. Run the script (as a parameter specify the SD card device file):

sudo ./create-sdcard.sh /dev/sdd
